Why should I use a “Network” Agent? Lets face it. The real estate business is a very competitive career choice. Agents are always looking for new ways to earn more business. There are a ton of “marketing gimmicks” out there to attract customers. The Move Network is a marketing tool, but it’s not a trick or a ploy. It’s a REAL service created to save you thousands of dollars! Even up against a “discount” Broker who offers to list your home for 5% or give you back 1% the “Network” benefits still prevail, especially if you are moving long distance. With fuel prices through the roof, if you’re moving, you’re paying a premium these days. Agents who join The Move Network all have one thing in common: they understand that their business is not just about how much money they can make on one transaction. If they can provide you with excellent service backed by a true value-added benefit (the move), you won’t forget them the next time you know of someone looking for a home! What is the standard long distance moving package when I use a “Network” Agent? We have THREE moving packages: Self Service, Self Service Plus and The “Red” Carpet - Full Service. To see a comparison chart, please go here. Based on certain variables such as the size of your move (amount of space you’ll require on the moving truck) and distance, you will receive either the Self Service or Self Service Plus moving package as your standard package. You will have the option to “add on” services or completely upgrade your move to Full Service. All customers are eligible to upgrade their move to The “Red” Carpet - Full Service package. You must cover the price difference between your standard package and the upgraded package. Full Service is just what the name implies. You will receive packing material and services, full load and unload and “Scratch and Dent” insurance. The Move Network has partnered with Allied Van Lines to serve our customers. With our volume pricing and your Agent’s contribution, the “Red” carpet upgrade may be a great choice for you. What is the standard local moving package when I use a “Network” Agent? Local moves are a lot different than long distance. There’s not a nationwide “standard” price for local moving services and there are a lot of local moving companies to choose from. At The Move Network, we are constantly building our database of local moving companies that meet or exceed our high standards of service and safety. Generally, customers moving locally will receive up to 8 hours of labor with two professional movers, the truck and fuel. Depending on your city, these standards maybe more or less. Please consult your “Network” Agent or contact us for further information. Do you use reputable moving companies to perform the actual move? Absolutely! The Move Network and its affiliated movers have all met or exceeded a strict requirement for a quality control standard of practice. Our movers are professionals and have maintained a minimum safety record based on our specific requirements. We DO NOT use day laborers for loading and unloading. Will you ever hold my belongings “ransom” or try to charge me more after my stuff is on the truck? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is a practice used by what we call "rogue" moving companies that need to have their licenses revoked. The law does not allow it, but enforcement of these laws may seem next to impossible. Did you know that it is LEGAL for a moving company to charge you 110% of what they originally quoted you? They also love the “fine print” where they stack up what they call “accessorial charges” (i.e. a charge for each stair in your house, long carry fee if they have to walk more then 75’ from your door to the truck, etc.). Should you decide to upgrade your move or add services to your standard moving package, we will explain the charges to you well in advance of your move and these charges will NOT change. Do the moves include insurance? Yes. The Self Service and Self Service Plus packages include standard cargo insurance. Full Service moves include cargo and “Scratch and Dent” insurance. Is packing included? No. The standard moving packages that are offered do not include packing of your belongings. However, if you require packing, you can choose the Full Service upgrade, which includes packing. And, with The Move Network’s volume discounts, you won’t find a better deal on this type of move. Does the move include pianos or billiard tables? The standard moving packages WILL transport these items, but you must have them professionally prepared for shipment. Grand and Baby Grand pianos need to be disassembled, wrapped and placed on a skid. Upright pianos will need to be properly wrapped. Billiard tables will need to be disassembled and properly wrapped. Full Service packages include the preparation of these items. Are boxes and other packing materials available? Boxes and packing materials are not included in our standard moving packages. Customers of The Move Network can benefit from our partnership with New Haven for their moving supply needs. When ordering through our website, you will receive our volume pricing and best of all, your supplies will be delivered right to your door. Does the move cover transporting vehicles? Not on the standard moving packages. You can request to transport a vehicle when upgrading to the Full Service package. What if I need to move before my home sells? A refundable deposit will be required for the total cost of the move. Upon closing of escrow the deposit will be refunded up to the amount of your standard moving package. What is the process once I have selected a “Network” Agent and found a home to purchase? You’re ready to move! As soon as possible you’ll need to go to The Move Network website and click on “Register Your Move” in the upper right hand corner. This will open a new browser window with a form. Simply fill out the information requested and submit the form. Once we have reviewed your information we will email you instructions on how to complete the Inventory Document. Once we have received all of your information, your move will be scheduled. One of our Move Coordinators will be in contact with you at all times through this process to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Where is The Move Network based? Our headquarters is based out of beautiful St. George, UT, with a branch office in Alpharetta, GA. |
